The Will of the World (世界の意志, Sekai no ishi) is the very consciousness of the world in which Helck and Völundio takes place.

A single contacted destroyed the world of the Ancients.[2]
At some point, Mikaros somehow came into contact with the Will of the World.[3]
In a previous life, Rafaed came into contact with the Will of the World, but Will of the World has not made contact with Rafaed's following lives.[4]
Those that come in contact with the will of the world will inevitably advocate the "Creation of the New World" and begin to fulfill that desire through any means necessary.[5]
The rate at which the Contacted (接触者, Sesshoku-sha), people under the influence of the "Will of the World", appear is gradually increasing.[6] The Empire has been opposing the Will of the World for 10000 years.
However, someone with a strong enough will can resist the Will of the World.[7]
